Archiving R69 was selected as one of 15 interactive works that were part of the Festival du Nouveau Cinema’s 2012 edition in the FNC-Lab.

Archiving R69 will be presented on Feb 23 at le Rendez-Vous du Cinéma Québecois 2012, as part of Journées Transmédia Programme 6. At the Cinémathèque Québecoise Salle Fernand Séguin from 1:30-2:30

On his Tumblr blog, Communication within Hybrid Environments, ZachMc commented on Archiving R69 and its interactive form:
“This film needs to be interactive in order to work. Why? Well…not only does it need to be interactive in order to distinguish between each medium in the archive, but the interactive experience also enables the user to feel as though they are ones who are searching through the archives and discovering the different documents for themselves.”
The Korsakow film Archiving R69 was finally launched at Visible Evidence 18 during the panel “Family Resemblances: Personal Archives” on August 12 2011, and the presentation, “Unfinished Films in the Multimedia Archive.”
